Nissan Tekton Revealed – What’s New?
Nissan is currently trying to introduce newer models in the country. The first model will be a 7-seater MPV, underpinned by the brand’s CMF-A platform, to be launched in the first half of 2026. But today we are talking about a new SUV, the one that will be a key to Nissan’s growing presence.
Talking about the new model, the brand has now given it a name. Yes, the upcoming Nissan SUV will be called Tekton. Expected to be launched in mid-2026, the automaker has revealed its exterior details and also teased a bit about its interior.

Exterior Details
The new SUV gets its design inspired by Nissan’s flagship Patrol SUV. The baby Patrol is expected to offer a better road presence, thanks to its bold and muscular grille. Having said that, one can see those LED headlights connected across the width forming a C-shape, sculpted bonnet design on the front. Similar design details are embedded on its rear too, where we can see a connected lighting setup. The SUV sits on new multi-spoke alloy wheels.
On the front door, above the fenders, the SUV gets a silver air intake-like design element. On the rear, the sporty-looking spoiler enhances its looks. Also, this design is finalized, and the SUV is in the final production version.

Interiors
The brand has not yet revealed any major details about its interiors. But, it has given a sneak peek of the interior, where it showcases a sleek dashboard design with ambient lighting, and it looks premium. Looking at the design, the SUV is expected to offer several advanced features in the list.
Some features that we expect to be equipped with the SUV are – a big touchscreen infotainment, wireless smartphone connectivity, ADAS, 360-degree camera, powered and ventilated seats, premium upholstery and more in its package.

Launch Details
Nissan has said that this SUV is expected to be launched by the mid of 2026. It will be a premium version of the old Nissan Terrano in the country. Apart from that, the brand will also be launching several new SUVs in the country.
