Toyota Fortuner Modified
We were wondering if the Fortuner has everything you need, including road presence, reliability and a rugged build. But it does lack in terms of a premium and luxurious cabin. So, we found a car modification workshop called Autorounders and their work on a Type 2 Fortuner. The second and third rows of the Type 2 Fortuner have been completely modified to have a lounge-like experience. The second row now gets a pair of recliners, while the third row has been deleted.

However, the showstopper here is a new partition between the front seats and the second row, which houses a sliding TV. Autorounders claim that this is the first time someone has installed a partition with a TV. Reclining seats are electrically controlled through a remote integrated into the armrest. Along with the reclining seats, you get an extendable calf support for the complete lounge experience. To add to the ambience, the cabin gets ambient lighting, wooden inserts, skylit roof, and much more. Bear in mind that all of this work has been done in-house, without installing ready-made parts.

What’s Else?
The partition is completely made out of wood, and the sliding 32-inch smart TV, once down, reveals a glass partition that shows the front side of the SUV. For better communication with the driver, an intercom has been installed. For an even better experience, there is a fridge installed inside to enjoy cool beverages on the go. All of these modifications have totally transformed the cabin experience and have added a luxurious feel to the Fortuner.

For the front seats, the seats and dashboard have also been re-upholstered to match the entire cabin. Not just that, Autorounders have also given a full overhaul to the Fortuner’s exterior. They have added a Lexus kit, which includes a Lexus signature “Spindle” grille, new bumper-mounted DRLs, aftermarket taillights and headlights, a hood scoop, and much more.
