New Hyundai Creta Rivals


The Creta is a feature-loaded SUV that comes with multiple engine options. Also, it is one of the most reliable products. But that’s something most of the rivals offer in the segment. However, in the coming months, two new SUVs are set for a launch. And to take on the likes of the Hyundai Creta, the upcoming rivals are expected to come with a Mercedes engine! Now that’s something unique and interesting, right?

So, which are these two SUVs? Well, in the coming months, Renault is set to launch the new Duster, while Nissan will be launching the new Tekton. Before the Duster got discontinued in 2022, the SUV was offered with a 1.3-litre Turbo Petrol Engine, producing 156bhp of power. It is the same unit that also powers entry-level cars like the Mercedes A-Class. Having said that, Renault might consider the new Duster with the same engine in its new-gen model. The same engine is also expected to come equipped with the Tekton – both being similar models.

Specs & Features


Although similar, the Duster & the Tekton will have different designs – both for exterior & interior. However, the feature list is expected to be similar. Talking of which, the Duster in global markets comes with features like – a 10.1-inch touchscreen system, 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, automatic climate control, 6-speaker Arkamys 3D sound system, electronic parking brake and ADAS.
